Recruitment Position Manual QA/Tester (Japanese)

Job Description

  • Create detailed test cases and test data for projects to ensure the quality of all applications before delivery to clients.

  • Perform functional, usability, and operation testing of products.

  • Report and verify bugs.

  • Report test results to the Test Leader.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience working as a Tester/QA.

  • Ability to read and write test cases in Japanese (equivalent to JLPT N3 or above).

  • Experience in testing web, desktop, native apps, API, and batch processing.

  • Solid knowledge of software testing phases (Unit Test, Integration Test, Functional Test, System Test, Acceptance Test, etc.) and testing techniques.

  • Ability to create related documents such as test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and test reports.

  • Able to write SQL queries and work with databases.

  • Strong ability to read and understand project specifications.

  • Experience using testing tools.

  • Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.

  • Proactive in researching and learning new systems.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Open to taking on other tasks as requested by the Test Leader.

  • Able to estimate and manage your own workload.

  • Experience with e-commerce projects is an advantage.

  • Ability to read and write in English. Communication skills with clients in English is a plus.
