Internship Responsibilities:

• Read and understand requirement specifications (specs) for e-commerce features such as shopping carts, order placement, payment, promotions, product management, etc.
• Participate in writing and executing test cases under the guidance of QA members.
• Perform manual testing on web browsers, and clearly report bugs with steps that are easy to reproduce.
• Retest fixed bugs and perform regression testing to ensure that previously tested functions continue to work properly and no new issues are introduced.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of testing checklists and update test results.
• Gradually get familiar with test automation using Playwright and learn how to apply AI (Artificial Intelligence) to software testing.

Requirements:

• Final-year student or recent graduate majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of software testing processes.
• Careful, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and responsible.
• Basic ability to read and understand English technical documents.
• Able to commit to an internship of at least 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications

• Japanese language skills (communication or reading comprehension) – the project’s clients are Japanese.
• Familiarity with e-commerce or the Magento platform.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, SQL, or programming.
• Familiarity with bug/issue tracking tools such as Redmine or Jira.
