CO-WELL WELCOMES JAPANESE STUDENTS TO INTERN IN HANOI

August 1st, 2018, CO-WELL warmly welcomed two Japanese students coming for a 2-week field trip and to experience the vibrant life in Hanoi – the capital city of Vietnam. This is a part of the cooperation program on the industrial economy between Japan and ASEAN countries (AMEICC).

These two interns are currently senior students in Information Technology at Shibaura Institute of Technology in Tokyo (Japan) and will spend two weeks at CO-WELL Asia office in Hanoi to practice.

In the next two weeks, the trainees will involve in CO-WELL project development process related to Big Data technology under the enthusiastic and devoted guidance from CO-WELL experts, who have been working in the industry for years. This internship was built based on PBL educational methods (Problem-Based Learning), which means students can learn how to solve practical issues and difficulties encountered throughout the products developing process.

Receiving international students for an internship is one of CO-WELL Asia’s educational cooperation activities, empowering young and talented students and promoting technological cooperation between the 2 nations as well as between ASEAN countries. CO-WELL organizes this annual activity as a member of the Japan-ASEAN Industrial and Economic Cooperation Committee (AMEICC). Additionally, CO-WELL will promote the linkage between businesses and international education institutions, with the hope to bring young and talented Vietnamese the opportunity to experience advanced technologies of the world and to contribute our efforts to create outstanding new generations that would inherit and lead Vietnamese technology on the way to conquer the Age of Technology 4.0 of the future.

The Japanese students joined an orientation under the direction of Ms Bui Thi Huong – CO-WELL Asia’s HR Manager.
