On October 30th – 31st 2017, 20 excellent students from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) had their presentation in front of Shibaura University (Japan) professors at CO-WELL Asia. This is a part of the applying process for Japan’s PBL scholarship program aiming to find high-quality Asian personnel in Artificial Intelligence (AI) research and training.

Human resource training and development always plays an important role in CO-WELL’s business strategy. Therefore, CO-WELL focuses on cooperating with foreign and domestic universities to provide training – enrollment – recruitment opportunities for students and job seekers.

In recent years, AI has been successfully applied in almost every fields to help people and make their lives more convenient.

As a part of our training cooperation program development strategy to identify and foster young talents, CO-WELL Asia, Shibaura University (Japan) and PTIT co-organized an enrollment to award 10 scholarships in AI training in Japan to excellent students.

On October 30th – 31st 2017, 20 outstanding students of PTIT had a presentation in front of Professor Nakajima and Professor Fukuda from Shibaura University at CO-WELL Asia. During the presentation, the students introduced their own experience in AI research and practice as well as shared their dreams and plans in the future. The professors highly appreciated their professionalism, presentation skills, English capability, and enthusiasm. The results are being discussed and all applicants would be informed as soon as possible.

In addition, CO-WELL also organizes free training courses for final-year IT students annually, namely Java – PHP Fresher training, Software Testing training… After each training course, excellent students will get the opportunities to become CO-WELLers and continue to participate in other internal training courses such as PM (Project Manager), BSE (bridge engineer) training and Japanese classes with native teachers.
